Les bacchanales organis\u00e9es par les Make It Sabbathy pour leur 50\u00e8me se cl\u00f4turent ce soir avec ce concert avec cette 3\u00e8me (ou 4\u00e8me selon comment on compte) soir\u00e9e. On craignait une affluence fam\u00e9lique (les bordelais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bien servis en concerts ces derni\u00e8res semaines) et la surprise est plut\u00f4t bonne de voir que les gens de bon go\u00fbt ont fait le d\u00e9placement.<\/p>\n<p>Comme souvent avec les concerts Make It Sabbathy (et c&rsquo;est fort louable), c&rsquo;est \u00e0 un groupe local que revient l&rsquo;honneur d&rsquo;ouvrir les hostilit\u00e9s. <strong>Hell in Town<\/strong> existe depuis quelques ann\u00e9es et revient en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 aux affaires apr\u00e8s un long break, avec un nouveau line-up. Il semble tenir le bon bout de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 l\u00e0, car les zicos tiennent bien la route. L&rsquo;ensemble est d&rsquo;ailleurs tr\u00e8s solide et l&rsquo;on se laisse vite embarquer par ce gros sludge sudiste (de subtils relents down-esques se font sentir ici ou l\u00e0), lourd mais jamais trop bourrin. L&rsquo;ensemble est chaleureux et bien interpr\u00e9t\u00e9, et les vocaux de Matt, dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un bon timbre de gueulard, si\u00e9ent \u00e0 ravir au groupe. Seule \u00e9tranget\u00e9, ces soli super techniques un peu syst\u00e9matiques qui d\u00e9boulent sur presque chaque titre, parfaitement interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s (tr\u00e8s bon guitariste lead), mais un peu abscons dans le contexte musical choisi par le groupe&#8230; Mais c&rsquo;est un d\u00e9tail, et le set d\u00e9file et se termine sur un tr\u00e8s bon feeling.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" <strong>Necromancers<\/strong> de se frotter \u00e0 un public qui devient de plus en plus nombreux. Avec un nouvel album sous le bras, et une intro sur \u00ab\u00a0Join the Dead Ones\u00a0\u00bb, on a vite cru que l&rsquo;on aurait droit \u00e0 un best of de ce dernier. Mais d\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0Salem Girl part I\u00a0\u00bb qui suit, on est agr\u00e9ablement surpris : le groupe ne n\u00e9glige pas son premier album, et le concert sera en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;une alternance d&rsquo;extraits de leurs deux productions. D\u00e9j\u00e0 que le quatuor tra\u00eene une r\u00e9putation de solide groupe live, autant vous dire qu&rsquo;ainsi arm\u00e9s d&rsquo;une set list \u00ab\u00a0best of\u00a0\u00bb, ils mettent toutes les chances de leur c\u00f4t\u00e9. Reste \u00e0 valider l&rsquo;interpr\u00e9tation et l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie sc\u00e9nique, et l\u00e0 encore, on n&rsquo;est pas d\u00e9\u00e7us : la troupe est en forme, et se stranscende sur sc\u00e8ne, comme \u00e0 chaque fois qu&rsquo;on les a vus, avec derri\u00e8re un Tom toujours impeccable au chant (ce chant rocailleux reste un bel atout pour le groupe) un groupe qui se donne \u00e0 fond. D\u00e8s lors les temps forts sont l\u00e9gion, et les trois quarts d&rsquo;heure de set d\u00e9filent et donnent la banane : un \u00ab\u00a0Salem Girl\u00a0\u00bb costaud, un \u00ab\u00a0Erzebeth\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9pique et qui n&rsquo;ennuie jamais sur la longueur, un \u00ab\u00a0Secular Lord\u00a0\u00bb catchy, le rapide \u00ab\u00a0Grand Orbiter\u00a0\u00bb&#8230; Le public monte en pression au fil des morceaux et quand le set se termine sur le tr\u00e8s bon \u00ab\u00a0Black Marble House\u00a0\u00bb, on peut sans peine affirmer qu&rsquo;ils en auraient bien <strong>Belzebong<\/strong>. Le quatuor vient de sortir en douce un troisi\u00e8me album (compl\u00e8tement autoproduit, le groupe a toujours trac\u00e9 sa route un peu en bordure des sentiers battus) que l&rsquo;on va pour une fois d\u00e9couvrir en live avant le disque. Un album dans lequel ils ont toute confiance en tous les cas, puisqu&rsquo;ils en joueront les trois quarts (3 des 4 titres, dit autrement) ce soir. Il sera difficile de dire si ce dernier se distingue en live apr\u00e8s cette soir\u00e9e o\u00f9 les titres s&rsquo;encha\u00eenent dans la m\u00eame masse musicale informe o\u00f9 les riffs lancinants succ\u00e8dent \u00e0 des riffs encore plus lancinants. D\u00e8s les premiers accords du lourd classique \u00ab\u00a0Bong Thrower\u00a0\u00bb, nos trois lascars en front de sc\u00e8ne jouent bas et dur, headbangant en mode synchro align\u00e9s sur le devant de la sc\u00e8ne. Et cela se r\u00e9p\u00e8tera ainsi sur une grasse heure environ, avec quelques soli haineux pour lever un peu le nez du guidon, au grand contentement des amateurs \u00e9clair\u00e9s. Il faut dire que Belzebong, aussi rare sur sc\u00e8ne que sur disque, est devenu l&rsquo;un des meilleurs groupes du genre, bien appuy\u00e9 sur un genre cod\u00e9 qu&rsquo;ils ma\u00eetrisent sur le bout des doigts, avec cette distance et ce second degr\u00e9 qui les rend attachants et fun (une large moiti\u00e9 de leur set list parle de plaisirs enfum\u00e9s). On est contents de se taper \u00ab\u00a0Acid Funeral\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Goat Smokin&rsquo; Blues\u00a0\u00bb et autres tartines doom fumantes, entre autres, et on voit passer entre la sc\u00e8ne et le public quelques grosses cigarettes fumantes un peu bizarres, qui semblent satisfaire notre quatuor&#8230; Que demande le peuple ? Dans les volutes et le headbang, le set d\u00e9file sans accro et, encore une fois, c&rsquo;est avec un m\u00e9lange de satisfaction et un peu de frustration (encoooore) qu&rsquo;on voit les polonais
