C&rsquo;est enfin le retour des festivals estivaux et bien entendu de la grande (Ker)messe fran\u00e7aise. C&rsquo;est sous une chape de plomb caniculaire que le festival s&rsquo;ouvre sur ce premier jour . L&rsquo;affluence est l\u00e0 sur tout le site bien entendu, mais la Valley n&rsquo;est pas en reste. Les festivaliers ne se trompent pas, cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e propose une affiche de r\u00eave pour tous les afficionados de la fuzz et du reste!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ABRAHMA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ouverture du festival avec une lourdeur toute contenue et une certaine m\u00e9lancolie qui colle bien avec la moiteur ambiante si t\u00f4t dans la journ\u00e9e. Les parisiens se sont peut \u00eatre \u00e9loign\u00e9s de notre ligne \u00e9ditoriale mais ne boudons pas notre plaisir. Les morceaux s&rsquo;encha\u00eenent et parviennent \u00e0 nous emmener sur une premi\u00e8re torpeur. La Valley n&rsquo;est pas encore totalement remplie malheureusement pour se d\u00e9lecter de ses premi\u00e8res notes toutes symboliques d&rsquo;un \u00e9norme week-end !<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"text-align: left;\">Avec ses riff fuzzy en pagaille et sa basse ultra grasse, le groupe su\u00e9dois cher \u00e0 bon nombre d&rsquo;entre nous cueille la foule d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de jeu. Le public lui offre un bel accueil, la Valley est d\u00e9finitivement r\u00e9veill\u00e9e et les t\u00eates dodelinent sur le groove impeccable de Greenleaf. Personne ne s&rsquo;est tromp\u00e9, la tente est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pleine comme un \u0153uf. La caisse claire claque, les soli et riffs fuzzy de Tommi font mouche, et la voix \u00e9raill\u00e9e et langoureuse de Arvid envoute le public. Les titres fleurent bon le groove et le boogie, notamment sur \u00ab\u00a0The drum\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, ASG arrive sur sc\u00e8ne et propulse son stoner classique et m\u00e9lodique aux relents heavy. Les premiers titres sont bien ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s, et aid\u00e9s par un son pr\u00e9cis et puissant ne r\u00e9veillent toutefois pas imm\u00e9diatement une Valley pourtant bien garnie. Les morceaux plus lents et plus lourds en milieu de set sont grandement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9s par les afficionados des am\u00e9ricains. La derni\u00e8re partie de set laisse enfin d&rsquo;exprimer le stoner que l&rsquo;on attend, la puissance et la maitrise d&rsquo;ASG gagne la foule des connaisseurs qui, faisant fi des touristes, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 chaque interpellation de Jason Shi le fontman. Tout le monde ne peut que finir \u00e0 genoux devant tant de maitrise. Merci Patrons, c&rsquo;est bon, la place est chaude, Elder n&rsquo;aura plus grand chose \u00e0 faire!<\/p>\n<p><a Cette lourdeur est contrecarr\u00e9e par une finesse dans les arrangements, tandis que la voix de Pelander nous renvoie, elle, aux confins du psych\u00e9d\u00e9lisme 70&rsquo;s. Malgr\u00e9 un jeu de sc\u00e8ne proche du n\u00e9ant, l&rsquo;auditoire est tout de m\u00eame emport\u00e9 par la qualit\u00e9 des compositions. Le public est venu voir le classique et il en prend pour son grade. la ma\u00eetrise due \u00e0 l&rsquo;habitude est perceptible, bien que quelques faux d\u00e9parts se fassent jour, \u00e9maill\u00e9s de regards complices entre les musiciens. C&rsquo;est sympa et frais dans l&rsquo;intention mais le son est vraiment trop lourd pour que cela devienne la focale du set, qui cl\u00f4ture apr\u00e8s trois quarts d&rsquo;heure sur le classique Car oui le groupe n&rsquo;attaque pas par son c\u00f4t\u00e9 le plus poutrassier. Cependant, chassez le naturel il revient au galop : un titre suffit et on embraye \u00ab\u00a0Aqua Dementia\u00a0\u00bb puis c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;avalanche pour un parterre de fans pourtant clairsem\u00e9s qui d\u00e9fend son groupe \u00e0 grands jet\u00e9s de gobelets dans la fosse. La batterie avec une d\u00e9co de grosse caisse repr\u00e9sentant un caniche est du plus bel effet, bien que ne cadrant pas avec l&rsquo;ambiance. Puis c&rsquo;est \u00ab\u00a0Teardrinker\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e7a joue hard rock comme \u00e0 la belle \u00e9poque. On trouve dans le set de belles m\u00e9oldies lorsque le chant revient au batteur. Bien que la soir\u00e9e touche \u00e0 sa fin avec un set d\u00e9butant \u00e0 minuit, ils auront r\u00e9pondu pr\u00e9sents, les petits amateurs de meurtre mis en musique. Un son qui enveloppe l&rsquo;assistance et la redondance des boucles qui l&rsquo;hypnotise &#8211; si l&rsquo;on excepte le monochrome, l&rsquo;ambiance est parfaite. \u00ab\u00a0Black Mass\u00a0\u00bb intervient comme une hache inlassable sur un tronc. La gratte donne tout de m\u00eame l&rsquo;impression de partir en couille lors des soli mais la projection psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique (vieux films de bikers pr\u00f4nant l&rsquo;amour libre et
