En effet, l&rsquo;\u00e9pisode de Fu Manchu se termine, et la grande histoire qu&rsquo;aura \u00e9t\u00e9 le label Man&rsquo;s Ruin conna\u00eet un \u00e9pilogue tragique et au combien douloureux pour ceux qui se sont investis dans cette aventure.<br \/>\nBrant, quant \u00e0 lui, reste imperturbable, en tout cas en apparence. Sa carri\u00e8re solo semble devenir son seul objectif et il d\u00e9cide donc de s&rsquo;investir corps et \u00e2me dans un nouveau projet qui commence par la cr\u00e9ation de son propre label, Duna Records. D\u00e9tach\u00e9 de toute contrainte aussi bien artistique que relationnelle, l&rsquo;ex-batteur de Kyuss et Fu manchu retourne donc en studio pour l&rsquo;enregistrement de son second album solo.<br \/>\nOn prend les m\u00eame et on recommence, est ce cela la recette magique de l&rsquo;ami Brant ?<br \/>\nOn dirait bien que oui car l&rsquo;infatigable show man prend une fois de plus la d\u00e9cision de tout enregistrer lui-m\u00eame, ce qui reste tout de m\u00eame quelque chose de remarquable \u00e0 notre \u00e9poque. Bien entendu, quelques invit\u00e9s (Mario Lalli, Mathias Scheneeberger entre autres) viennent lui pr\u00eater main forte pour quelques petits apports bien sympathiques mais cet album est encore et toujours l&rsquo;\u0153uvre totale et compl\u00e8te de Brant. Les 10 titres qui composent cet album sont \u00e0 l&rsquo;image de ce que Brant sait faire de meilleur, de purs moments de rock&rsquo;n roll r\u00e9v\u00e9lant, ou plut\u00f4t confirmant chez lui un r\u00e9el talent de compositeur (mais pas forcement de parolier je vous l&rsquo;accorde). Rien dans ce disque n&rsquo;est \u00e0 jeter. Et lorsque l&rsquo;on conna\u00eet le potentiel sc\u00e9nique de l&rsquo;individu, on se dit que ces titres vont trouver une dimension suppl\u00e9mentaire lors de leur interpr\u00e9tation live pour atteindre des sommets que seul une poign\u00e9e d&rsquo;artistes ont pu apercevoir lors de leur carri\u00e8re aussi longue soit elle.
