Premier jet de Brian Daniloski, ‘Ecdysis’ se distingue dans un registre mi-exp\u00e9rimental mi-drone dans la droite ligne de ce que d’aucuns qualifient de grande bouffonnerie. M\u00eame si le cerveau malade qui m\u00e8ne ce projet s’est d\u00e9j\u00e0 produit en compagnie de formations qui tabassent comme High On Fire ou Mastodon, son style se rapproche indeignablement de Sunn0))) avec toutefois une touche tr\u00e8s personnelle due \u00e0 quelques incursions de sitars dispens\u00e9es \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0 dans son \u00e9trange architecture sonore.Moins cintr\u00e9es que certains projets dronisants, cette production aux accents orientaux et aux riffs plomb\u00e9s s’adresse toutefois \u00e0 un public averti. Difficile en effet de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer cet univers sonore o\u00f9 cohabitent de grosses guitares grailleuses, de subtils sitars et des chants hallucin\u00e9s comme sur ‘Drag The Carcass’ qui est certainement le titre le plus abouti, et le seul contenant des voix ‘humaines’, de cet ovni musical.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
