Le \u00ab King of the road \u00bb de Fu Manchu \u00e9tait bien d\u00e9cevant et prenait le risque de se retrouver d\u00e9tr\u00f4n\u00e9. Et bien c&rsquo;est chose faite. Par des sujets de la couronne su\u00e9doise qui arrivent l\u00e0 dans une bagnole pourrie (cf. la pochette) mais dont le moteur semble \u00eatre gonfl\u00e9 \u00e0 bloc. Tellement gonfl\u00e9 leur moulin que les rois du Bedford sont encore \u00e0 remballer leur vaisselle et \u00e0 repriser leurs maillots de bain au bord de la plage, que nos quatre su\u00e9dois sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 quinze plages plus loin en train de draguer toutes les minettes. Il faut se m\u00e9fier des bagnoles qui ne paient pas de mine. On attendait pas les Demon Cleaner. Ce qui fait d&rsquo;autant plus mal l\u00e0 o\u00f9 \u00e7a fait du bien. Bon, rien de franchement original l\u00e0-dedans. Totalement influenc\u00e9s par Fu Manchu p\u00e9riode \u00ab In search of \u00bb et donc gorg\u00e9 de fuzz, ils prolongent un esprit plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;innovent. Mais pourquoi leur demanderait-on davantage ? Ils ont tout compris au truc. Du gros heavy rock right dans ta face \u00e9cras\u00e9e. Totalement jouissif. Fuzz \u00e0 tous les \u00e9tages, rythmes effr\u00e9n\u00e9s, m\u00e9lodies ent\u00eatantes. De la musique \u00e0 \u00e9couter en conduisant. Ils devraient d&rsquo;ailleurs vendre ce disque avec un volant de bagnole. On se calerait tranquillement dans un fauteuil entre deux enceintes diffusant \u00ab Up in smoke \u00bb \u00e0 fond les gamelles, le volant entre les mains et on serait les rois de la route assis sous un poster d&rsquo;\u00e9toiles du Nouveau Mexique. En attendant de se faire d\u00e9passer par un nouveau pr\u00e9tendant.
