Il arrive enfin et il d\u00e9pote ! Rarement groupe n’a m\u00e9lang\u00e9 autant de styles pour finalement, sans r\u00e9inventer, rendre jouissif le moindre riff, ou entra\u00eenant le moindre refrain. Puny Human est lourd, tendance rock 70’s blind\u00e9 aux barres \u00e0 mines, rempli de groove jusqu’\u00e0 la gueule, le boogie \u00e0 fleur de gratte, endiabl\u00e9 de bout en bout. Les compos en attestent, comment ne pas taper fr\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement du pied \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0The Toos\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0Witches chasing cabs\u00a0\u00bb ou encore \u00ab\u00a0Greasin’ the wheel\u00a0\u00bb ?! Les guitares sont pachydermiques et ont le riff velu, et la rythmique est imparable (excellent batteur, anecdotiquement VJ \u00e0 MTV). Le son (Jay Yuenger, l’ex-White Zombie produit la galette) n’est pas en reste, et apporte la discr\u00e8te cerise stoner sur le g\u00e2teau de notre bonheur b\u00e9at.
