Un son de guitare reconnaissable parmi mille et un riff enchanteur vient vous cueillir \u00e0 froid et vous transporte imm\u00e9diatement dans une contr\u00e9e inconnue mais bizarrement attirante. Il faut dire que la patte Fu Manchu est bien rod\u00e9e maintenant et ce second album ne devrait que confirmer tout le bien que l&rsquo;on pense de ce groupe, en tout cas on l&rsquo;esp\u00e8re !<br \/>\nBrad Davis vient de remplacer Mark Abshire \u00e0 la basse mais l&rsquo;alchimie est bien l\u00e0, d&rsquo;autant que la base de Fu Manchu reste ces deux guitares mani\u00e9es de main de ma\u00eetre par Eddie Glass et Scott Hill ; et de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 on est servi et pas qu&rsquo;un peu.<br \/>\nCertes comme pour le premier album du groupe on ne peut pas vraiment crier au g\u00e9nie mais on est tout de m\u00eame forc\u00e9 de constater qu&rsquo;on s&rsquo;en rapproche et de tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s. Ce qu&rsquo;il manque \u00e0 cet album, c&rsquo;est peut \u00eatre un son un peu plus clean et qui le rendrait plus accessible. Mais d&rsquo;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, ce son parfois lourd et nasillard ne fait il pas partie int\u00e9grante de ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le stoner \u00e0 la Fu Manchu ? En fait, je ne sais m\u00eame pas si \u00e7a existe le \u00ab stoner \u00e0 la Fu Manchu \u00bb et je serai bien incappable d&rsquo;en d\u00e9finir les bases. Mais lorsque l&rsquo;on \u00e9coute ce \u00ab Daredevil \u00bb on se rend bien compte que c&rsquo;est diff\u00e9rent de tout le reste de la production rock.<br \/>\nBref, un bon album mais on sent bien que les Fu&rsquo;s en ont encore sous la p\u00e9dale et qu&rsquo;il ferait bien de tout l\u00e2cher sous peine de g\u00e2cher un potentiel \u00e9norme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&rsquo;intro de \u00ab Trapeze Freak \u00bb, premier titre de ce nouveau Fu Manchu est terrible.
