Enfin, pas vraiment. Plut\u00f4t le contraire en fait. La musique du quatuor romain, combo plut\u00f4t discret jusqu\u2019ici, qui sort apr\u00e8s 5 ans d\u2019activit\u00e9 (morcel\u00e9s) son premier album, s\u2019apparente plus \u00e0 une session d\u2019auto-tamponneuses dans une piscine de goudron qu\u2019\u00e0 une balade en amoureux main dans la main au coucher du soleil sur les bords du Tibre, m\u2019voyez\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Dix titres, 50 minutes, et pas mal de choses \u00e0 dire\u00a0! Bien loin des dizaines de groupes italiens dont on trouvera in\u00e9vitablement les mots \u00ab\u00a0psyche\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0heavy\u00a0\u00bb dans le genre pratiqu\u00e9 (dans le d\u00e9sordre, et avec d\u2019autres mots au milieu), Beesus trouve plut\u00f4t ses influences dans des combos noise old school (on pense plus \u00e0 Jesus Lizard ou Sonic Youth qu\u2019\u00e0 un bon vieux Fu Manchu \u2013 voir des titres comme \u00ab\u00a0Zenza\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0Mata la Verguenza\u00a0\u00bb), voire grunge pour un sens de la m\u00e9lodie assez marqu\u00e9, le tout, et c\u2019est ce qui fait chaud au c\u0153ur, envelopp\u00e9 dans une belle coquille de son rond et graisseux, copieusement fuzz\u00e9. Des fulgurances doom trouvent aussi leur place ici ou l\u00e0 (\u00ab\u00a0Rise of Beesus\u00a0\u00bb, la fin de \u00ab\u00a0Zenza\u00a0\u00bb), et les plans stoner \u00ab\u00a0classique\u00a0\u00bb viennent aussi agr\u00e9menter certains titres. On trouve aussi des prises de risque (voir ce \u00ab\u00a0Kusa\u00a0\u00bb moiti\u00e9 planant \/ moiti\u00e9 brutal en milieu d\u2019album), aussi illustr\u00e9es par des breaks venus de nulle part, des morceaux bi(ou tri-)c\u00e9phales, des effets saugrenus, etc\u2026 Barr\u00e9\u00a0! Tout ne fonctionne pas parfaitement, bien s\u00fbr, et on hausse les sourcils plus souvent qu\u2019\u00e0 son tour. Mais l\u2019enthousiasme du groupe excuse presque tout. Bref\u00a0: roboratif\u00a0! Trouver une ligne directrice claire devient d\u00e8s lors un exercice de haute voltige, et on ne s\u2019y risque pas. On passe plut\u00f4t du temps \u00e0 \u00e9couter ces titres, et finalement tout s\u2019encha\u00eene avec une impression de chaos pas d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able &#8211; les \u00e9coutes s\u2019encha\u00eenent non sans d\u00e9plaisir, on ne s\u2019ennuie pas.<\/p>\n<p>La prod \u2013 ou plut\u00f4t le monceau de glaire qui coule des haut parleurs \u2013 sied parfaitement au groupe, avec en particulier pour les esth\u00e8tes du son, un son de basse si gras qu\u2019on pourrait y faire cuire la production de frites du McDo du coin pendant une semaine. On pourrait \u00eatre un peu rebut\u00e9 par les beuglements un peu syst\u00e9matiques de Touis, mais on s\u2019y fait, \u00e7a convient finalement bien \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie d\u00e9brid\u00e9e du combo.
