Une de ces r\u00e8gles grav\u00e9es dans le marbre qu\u2019il nous appara\u00eet aujourd\u2019hui crucial de contourner, au regard de la grosse mornifle r\u00e9colt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de la sympathique nouvelle prod de The Company Band. TCB, mieux connu comme le side project de Neil Fallon, le velu vocaliste de Clutch, mais surtout comme une sorte de all-star band du stoner ricain, avec Brad Davis de Fu Manchu \u00e0 la 4-cordes, le gratteux de Fireball Ministry et Jess Margera (CKY) derri\u00e8re les f\u00fbts. Apr\u00e8s 2 albums d\u00e9licieux, le quartette magique nous a pondu il y a quelques mois un petit 5-titres assez remarquable.<br \/>\nPetit album = petite chronique (chiche !). \u00ab House of capricorn \u00bb introduit fi\u00e8rement la galette avec un boogie tr\u00e8s Clutchien, sur un up\/mid-tempo tr\u00e8s accrocheur port\u00e9 par une batterie de mule. \u00ab Black Light Fever \u00bb d\u00e9monte la cervelle avec son refrain charg\u00e9 de groove \u00e0 en d\u00e9gueuler et ses grattes cinglantes. On acc\u00e9l\u00e8re un peu tout \u00e7a avec le plus fi\u00e9vreux \u00ab Kill screen \u00bb, un titre qui d\u00e9bo\u00eete bien, toujours affubl\u00e9 de la frappe sur-bourrine de Margera, et subtilement enrob\u00e9 de discr\u00e8tes nappes d\u2019orgue. Le tempo ralentit avec le tr\u00e8s accrocheur \u00ab Loc-Nar \u00bb, lui aussi tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9 \u00ab Clutch \u00bb, entre son refrain et le groovy break sur la fin du morceau. On finit \u00e0 la cool avec \u00ab El Dorado \u00bb, un morceau lent gracile et onctueux (?!!) qui tra\u00eene ses 5 minutes sans lasser, et notamment dans sa conclusion particuli\u00e8rement a\u00e9rienne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tr\u00e8s bon, rien \u00e0 dire. Un peu court, bien s\u00fbr, mais tr\u00e8s bon. L\u2019association de ces 4 fourbes fait toujours plaisir \u00e0 entendre.
