A la mort de KYUSS, FU MANCHU vassal discret jusqu’alors, mais diablement efficace, s’est l\u00e9gitimement impos\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s du public comme le nouveau King du stoner rock en encha\u00eenant coup sur coup The action is go fin 97, une tourn\u00e9e magnifique en 98 et Eatin’ dust d\u00e9but 99. Personne ne s’opposera \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer cette p\u00e9riode comme ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9lectable pour les auditeurs avides de sons gras ind\u00e9l\u00e9bilement marqu\u00e9 du sceau des 70’s. En s’autoproclamant King of the road, le FU reconna\u00eet implicitement et probablement malgr\u00e9 lui qu’il n’est plus le number one. Reparti en croisade, le FU laisse la place du King du stoner rock vacante. Plut\u00f4t courageux comme d\u00e9marche. Sauf qu’en tentant de consolider son statut par la construction d’un nouveau ch\u00e2teau qu’il voulait assur\u00e9ment encore plus grand, encore plus beau, encore plus haut que les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, il a perdu de vue que les fondations devaient \u00eatre \u00e9galement plus solides que pour ses \u00e9difices ant\u00e9rieurs. Quelques tours sont tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9ables \u00e0 visiter certes et la vue y est plut\u00f4t jolie (Hell on Wheels, Weird Beard, Hotdoggin’), mais la b\u00e2tisse ressemble un peu trop \u00e0 ce qu’on a d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu avec un niveau de finition moindre. On retiendra n\u00e9anmoins sur ma gauche, dans le fond, un superbe donjon construit sur le mod\u00e8le DEVO, Freedom of Choice. FU MANCHU est \u00e0 nouveau sur la route, pr\u00e9tendant en \u00eatre le roi. Attention \u00e0 ce que cette route ne vous m\u00e8ne aux oubliettes messeigneurs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
