Ca commence sur une intro \u00e0 la wah-wah et un riff couillu fa\u00e7on Fu Manchu. La voix dynamique nous fait comprendre que le groupe \u00e0 d\u00e9cider de s&rsquo;exprimer dans sa langue maternelle: l&rsquo;espagnol.<\/p>\n<p>Le gratteux soliste prouve fissa qu&rsquo;il est \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise sur le manche. Les 3 autres musicos ne sont pas des manchots non plus. Une belle patate pour ce quatuor fondant son image sur la chaleur des cactus, ce qui est d&rsquo;ailleurs le titre et le graphisme de cette autoprod. Leur musique est chaleureuse et c&rsquo;est dans cette fournaise que le groupe nous offre une s\u00e9ance de desert rock de tr\u00e8s bonne facture.<\/p>\n<p>On \u00e9volue ensuite dans un style grungy mais toujours furieux et rageur. Rien \u00e0 voir avec les clones et autres avatars-suiveurs pourris de l&rsquo;\u00e8re Nirvana. Le 3e morceau est un petit clin d&rsquo;\u009cil bien sympathique au Green Machine de Kyuss. La suite nous offre des chansons diversifi\u00e9es dans des dur\u00e9es oscillant de 1:30\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 plus de 7&Prime;.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qu&rsquo;on leur souhaite, c&rsquo;est de nous mettre cela en bo\u00eete le plus vite possible avec un mix de qualit\u00e9 faisant de leur chaleur musicale un \u00e9l\u00e9ment imparable.<\/p>\n<p>Tant\u00f4t heavy, tant\u00f4t psych\u00e9 mais toujours desert rock, Jolly Roger (\u00e7a me fait penser au nom d&rsquo;un cheval) nous offre une superbe chevauch\u00e9e pleine de fougue aux effets de mescaline \u00e0 travers les terres arides du royaume d&rsquo;Espagne.
