Three Hours to Coma<\/em>, c’est le titre d’ouverture et de ce deuxi\u00e8me album autoproduit des nordiques de Devillac. Et quel album ! On en vient presque \u00e0 regretter que leur premier essai, enregistr\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la sortie d’un split prometteur chez Daredevil records en 2001, ne soit jamais sorti.<\/p>\n

Mu par une complicit\u00e9 musicale d\u00e9j\u00e0 vieille de 10 ans (\u00e0 l’\u00e9poque dans des groupes comme Supercruiser ou Fuzzbender), Devillac maitrise d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien le genre. De prime abord, les teintures musicales et vocales des titres de cette galette les placent dans la droite lign\u00e9e d’un Dozer (Winchester, Man without a Spine). Mais en y tendant une oreille plus attentive, certains morceaux comme Mental, au x riffs r\u00e9p\u00e9titifs, font parfois penser \u00e0 du Pelican ce qui est plut\u00f4t flatteur et de bon augure pour le combo Finlandais.<\/p>\n

Essai transform\u00e9 donc pour le quintet de Turku, qui, esp\u00e9rons le, d\u00e9crochera bient\u00f4t la timbale et pourquoi pas une distribution plus large.<\/p>\n
